Wow, I can’t believe it. Here I am, just having what I thought was a normal, average day, and then this happens! About five minutes ago a woman comes in and orders a medium latte and when I asked for her name, she said Spartacus! I get it, people are jokesters and think it’s funny to use fake name. But your barista boy Mario can play ball! So I label her cup and move on, chuckling to myself at a stranger’s whimsy. And then, wouldn’t you know it, the same thing happens again! And again and again and again, bringing me to you — the twelfth Spartacus to order a medium latte! Can this day get any crazier?!

While you’re waiting, do you mind if I ask — are you guys in some sort of group or something? That seems to be the obvious explanation. You all are playing some sort of silly game together that involves the repetition of a certain behavior. If so, rad! Your boy Mario isn’t going to rain on your parade! I’m all in! Just tell me what I need to do?

That’s cool if me being an employee here sort of nulls my ability to be a part of whatever it is you’re doing. No worries! I’m working anyways and my boss wouldn’t like that, but man would it be a riot if I changed my name tag to Spartacus. The look on his face would be sooo worth the scolding.
